Vodoo Doughnuts; Bacon Maple Bar

My new recovery ride food; Bacon, Maple glaze, Doughnut... Ohhh yeah!
Good bye protein shakes, Cliff Shot Recovery, Hammer Recoverite, chocolate milk, 4:1 carbs to protein magic numbers and all the other “scientific” solutions to being lighter and riding harder, faster, stronger, and more responsively. I’ve found the new recovery food. This isn’t anything new to the local Portlanders but I’ve, after months, finally got around to trying one. It’s the, taste proven magic ratio of salt:grease:animal:sugar:protein:carbs…. Wash it down with a double shot over ice and I’m set to ride the entire 4 miles back home at a blistering 7 MPH pace. The mere thought of this dietary nuclear bomb (we’re talking Fat Man not Little Boy here) has me getting through my intervals tomorrow.



Dang chico! That’s ridic. When I was in Portland last time someone gave us a free box of Voodoo donuts, but the maple bacon cardiac blowout was not in the box I am sorry to say.
You sure have been getting your share of animal lately…I guess you are making up for lost carnage…
